Instead of buying a yearbook (because they are quite expensive), I usually just get a spiral bound notebook and have people draw a picture of themselves and sign in. Not only do I save a lot of money, but I get more personal and creative messages by which to remember people.
This year, however, I actually bought a yearbook. Still, yearbooks are boring, and I still like to see people try to draw pictures of themselves. So I combined the best of both worlds! I had people write me long, heartfelt notes in my traditional old-school yearbook, and people continue to draw fun and exciting pictures in my spiral bound yearbook! For the third year running, I get the most personal collection of signatures out there.
