Cafepress

Cafepress.com is a site that lets you upload your own images and have them printed on t-shirts. Not only that, you can put the shirts out for other people to buy, and mark the shirts up to make money off their sales. I then get to use that money to get my own shirts for free :D. Here is a gallery of all the different designs I have made. All the images are links to cafepress so you can see what they look like on actual shirts.

Caffeinery

This design is inspired by the "My Anti-Drug" public service ad campaign that ran a while ago. It is a picture of the caffeine molecule along with the words "Caffeine - My Anti-Drug". It’s ironic, because caffeine is actually a drug, just a fairly mundane one. It is the perfect design for all those coffee drinking college kids out there, and a lot of gamers take their caffeine pretty seriously too. I rather like this design, and gave a mug with it on it to my Sophomore year Chemistry teacher.

Keepin’ It Real

I think I was feeling extremely random one day in Physics, and I was talking with Duck and Kasim (yes, I have friends named Duck and Kasim) about math. I believe I was attempting to brainstorm math team t-shirt ideas at the time. I have a tendancy to pick up phrases and then use them a lot for a short period of time, and the one around this time was "Keepin’ It Real". I must have said it, then realized that "real" is the mathematical term for a non-imaginary number, expressed as i. Combine the two, and you have a pretty geeky shirt that most people won’t get! Perfect!

Gravity Attracts

In Physics class, our teacher made a joke about being attracted to the person next to you when we learned about the Universal Law of Gravitation. This is a wonderful word which can mean many different things. I suppose it is up to the reader of the shirt to decide what "attracted" really means. Of course, it gets even better when you put it on a magnet, since then you have all sorts of attraction going on all over the place. I may modify this design to have a picture of a person and a picture of a cup of coffee, since I feel that would be a better design for a mug.

Highly Eccentric

In geometry, the measure of how non-circular an ellipse is is the eccentricity of the ellipse. The more eccentric an ellipse is, the wider the ellipse is compared to its height. So the ellipse containing the words "Highly Eccentric" is, itself, highly eccentric. Most people don’t even know that ellipses and ovals are the same shape, so this is another joke that will go over most people’s heads. They will probably just think that you are calling yourself weird.

Huh?
Why would a t-shirt site have news, seriously?.
