What happens when you get bored at Robotics? You take pictures of your CAD team leader and Photoshop them together so it looks like he has five arms!
We keep our CAD team busy drawing up parts of the robot, so sometimes they joke that they would need extra arms to finish everything we give them in time. Extra arms are no problem if you’ve got a camera and a tripod.
Six pictures were taken from the same position. Between each photo, Matt moved his arms so that they were on different input devices on the computers. Then in Photoshop I just picked out the best arms from each picture and threw them all on top of each other. It took a little bit of work to make the arms all look like they were natural, but the final effect gets across what we were originally going for.
